1. Credit Card is swiped or keyed in by the Merchant (POS) or the customer (Online).
The POS transaction is captured, then encrypted, using a variety of devices, which include computers, cash registers, optical and bar code scanners, magnetic card readers, or any combination of these devices

2. The Customer data and Credit Card details are encrypted and securely transmitted into iTrust StrongBox.
Credit Card data flows from iTrust StrongBox through the Card Vault (also known as iTrust StrongHold) where it is stored, secured and encrypted. Only a referencing token, useless if intercepted and stolen, is stored on the client's machine.

3. The captured secured data continues on through to the ISO (card processor)
The ISO processes the transaction charge and sends the charge details to acquiring bank.

4. The collected funds are handled by the acquiring bank.
Next they are distributed to the merchant who ran the charge. Acquiring bank deposits the funds into the merchant's account.

During the entire process, your information is kept secure by iTrust StrongBox Processing Platform, keeping the transaction PCI Complaint.
